Interviews can be super nerve wracking. But with this toolkit of tips and tricks, you’ll be ready to slay any interview and kiss goodbye that anxious feeling you get around them.


1) Treat yourself

  • Having a good self-care routine can help you deal with stressful situations better. Take a bath, put on a face mask and just chill!

2) Visualise success

  • If you want to succeed, you’ve got to visualise it! Studies show visualisation is an effective technique and can improve your performance too.

3) In through the nose, out through the mouth...

4) Start writing

  • Writing down your spinning thoughts, can be a great way to do a complete brain dump and clear your mind so you’re not distracted during your interview.

5) Acceptance

  • A 2015 study of 82 Chinese people showed that acceptance of anxiety was more effective at regulating it than suppressing it. So, say hi to your anxiety, and acknowledge that you’re feeling anxious and that’s perfectly okay.
